Abstract

The timely title of his remarks, "The Vatican and Israel: Recent Developments" focused on the greatly improved relationship of the past 40 or so years, and in particular since "The Fundamental Agreement," the accord signed by the Vatican and Israel in December of 1993, normalizing relations between the Holy See and the Jewish State.
